Hanah's Story

Hanah was a loving dog that was torn from our lives and hearts during the 2011 Joplin tornado, and her disappearance has led to our nationwide mission to reunify as many pets with their owners as we can. While it has been a long time since Hanah went missing, we remain faithful and strong as we continue to spread the word of our missing gal, reunify other pets with their owners, raise disaster awareness, and hope we will one day find the person needed to BRING HANAH HOME.

Past Events

Christmas 2011

This was our first major giving event for those in Joplin. We collected and distributed Christmas Trees, ornaments and childrens gifts to some 36 families (including 45 children).

Kuranda Bed Event

Next up was our Kuranda bed event! We heard of our MWDs overseas who were in need of a nice place to rest their head after a long day at work. Yet again, Hanah's army stepped up, sending 67 beds to the dogs stationed overseas!!! In addition, our cause inspired several other organizations to take up donations as well. Last count-over 125 beds had been sent!

Prom Dress

Prom Dress event started as a way to help the victims of the 2011 Joplin and 2012 Henryville tornadoes have an amazing night with some sassy dresses. After collecting 90 dresses from Hanah's amazingly generous extended family, as well as donated dresses from Jovani Fashions , BHH was able to donate 60 dresses to tornado victims in need, the additional 30 dresses were taken to Riley Children's Foundation for the Riley Prom. Catch those gowns in action here:
